The History of KACS
Before the Katy Seventh-day Adventist Church was formally established, a small group of families met together in homes and rented spaces, united by a deep burden for their children and youth. As they worshiped and grew in fellowship, they recognized a need for a place where young people could learn about Jesus, deepen their faith, and develop the gifts God had given them.
As this faithful group continued to grow, it eventually became clear that they needed a permanent church home. Yet even then, their priority remained unchanged: the children came first. When the time came to purchase land and design a facility, the members intentionally shaped every part of the master plan around the vision of a thriving school that would nurture students academically, spiritually, and socially.
Out of this prayerful commitment, Katy Adventist Christian School (KACS) was born—a school created by parents and church members who believed that Christian education is an essential part of raising young leaders for Christ. Today, KACS stands as a living testimony to their dedication, faith, and long-term vision for the children of their community.
Adventist Education
As a member of the Seventh-day Adventist school network, the second-largest Christian school system in the world, KACS participates in a worldwide movement committed to educating students for faith, service, and lifelong purpose. Across the globe, Adventist Education includes 7,800+ schools, colleges, and universities; 93,000+ teachers and educational staff, and 1.8 million students in more than 100 countries.
This system exists to fulfill a unified mission: “to enable learners to develop a life of faith in God, and to use their knowledge, skills, and understandings to serve God and humanity.” Everything we do at KACS is an expression of that mission.

KACS Accreditation
KACS is accredited by the accrediting association of the Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities, which is a recognized member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation and the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission. As such, your student’s credits are transferable to Texas public schools.
